Adelaide PtL Event

I'm back again in Adelaide for another Producing the Limit event.

Got another chance to work with Paul Wood.  I always enjoy working and learning from Paul.  We helped the asset team to cover about 150 wells in two weeks, plus a full analysis of two surface systems.  Great team to work with!  Very competent and motivated. As usual, we had to work hard to break the old discipline habits and actually work together, perform detailed analysis and make decisions.  They especially liked the Paint-the-Picture part of the event and we managed to skip the introductory presentations by the teams and just jumped into it.  Good thing too because we found so many great opportunities in a field with a lot of moving pieces that have to work together very well.  Once again, I learned a lot.  Still surprising after 32 years in the industry.  We helped the asset team to find opportunities to add 21% additional production/  This in fields that have been picked-over well by a talented team.  Plus we found other substantial opportunities to improve their system and save on costs.  Unfortunately, after two weeks we had to leave the team to finish planning for their 86 opportunities next week!

Adelaide is a nice town of over 1 million.  Lots of shopping and restaurants.
Every place seem to be full and very busy.  Like in the 'old days' in the US.  May they come again soon!
