Its the beginning of summer and I'm taking a bit of a break from work and travel.
I have been working on a revision of API 11v6, which will now be API 19G6, "Recommended Practice for Design of Continuous Flow Gas Lift Installations Using Injection Pressure Operated Valves". I have started on a new Gas Lift Demonstrator like the one I wrote when I was with Shell. This one will look a lot better and will be written in Python. Next week I will make a quick trip to Houston to speak at one of the smaller major oil companies who are holding an IPM Workshop with attendees from all their major assets to discuss the future of integrated modeling within the company.
Aside from that, there is sailing, teaching Geometry to my son who is going to be a sophomore in high school, and just kicking back around the pool, relaxing.
