PSO Event Planning

I started making recommendations for a Production System Optimization event to be held in Europe early next year.  

The challenge is to find a few hundred thousand barrels of oil.

Years ago, I participated in many of these events and they were always interesting and challenging.  The object was to uncover opportunities to add value by relatively inexpensive changes to the production system.  The key to success was to have a multi-discipline team, ringfenced for the event.  We had these events that lasted from one to two weeks.  The longer versions included a field visit where the team could verify and refine the opportunities on location, occasionally testing out ideas on-site. The event should be fun and I might even get to work with some colleagues  I haven't seen in a few years.
